Data we do not collect

We never ask for your name, email or any personal data; there are no accounts or forms. Zakat items and fair-price inputs are computed inside your browser and are not sent to our servers.

Local storage

We store your preferences (language, currency, theme) and the last known price, and — only if you tick “Save my portfolio” — your Zakat items, in your browser's local storage on your device. You can clear them any time with “Clear portfolio” or from your browser settings.

Location

To choose a default currency we use your browser's time zone and, failing that, an approximate country lookup from your IP address by a third-party service; we do not store your address or location.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or via aboutads.info. Third-party vendors may also use cookies to serve ads.

Data sources

Prices and news are fetched from external market-data and news services directly by your browser; those requests are subject to the providers' policies and carry no identifying data from us.
